Phoenix, AZ – Arizona Cardinals Star Safety Kerry Rhodes and his Kerry RHODES Foundation will present its 3rd Annual Holiday Mixer Shopping Extravaganza & Celebrity Billiards Tournament hosted by Kerry Rhodes & Miss AZ USA Erika Frantzve taking place on Monday, December 19, 2011.

Holiday Exclusive Shopping Extravaganza

This day of shopping will give holiday shoppers the opportunity to shop throughout day at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall at various participating retail locations such as Just Sports, with a percentage % of their purchases going towards the Kerry RHODES Foundation. Following a day of shopping, Kerry alongside his Cardinals teammates, celebrity friends and fans will participate in the Holiday Celebrity Billiards Tournament.

Celebrity Billiards Tournament

Join Kerry, his celebrity friends and Cardinals teammates as they match up with fans to compete in a tournament that will consist of 15 two (2) person teams, paired in a single elimination 8-Ball challenge. Following the Championship Game, Kerry will present the winning team with the GRAND PRIZE. Hosted by Kerry Rhodes & Miss AZ USA with music by DJ Ced Ceballos and DJ Class of POWER 98.3. Jeanette “Black Widow” Lee will perform trick shots, challenge players and sign autographs for all attendees.

CARDINALS TO PARTICIPATE IN PROS VS. G.I. JOES PROGRAM

Tempe, AZ – Arizona Cardinals safety Kerry Rhodes, tight end Stephen Spach, wide receivers Stephen Williams and Max Komar and tackle Herman Johnson will compete for the third consecutive year in a video game competition with Arizona National Guard soldiers, airmen from Luke Air Force Base and troops overseas as part of the Pros vs. G.I. Joes program on Tuesday, September 21 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Cardinals Training Facility (8701 S. Hardy Dr., Tempe).

Presented by UHaul, the Pros vs. G.I Joes program has the Cardinals players and solders playing Madden 2011, Guitar Hero, and Call of Duty via an XBox Live gaming tag. While they are playing the games, the competitors will be able to see and hear each other through a webcam set-up using SiteSpeed. Likewise, the crowd on both sides of the competition will be able to see the live action as well.

The soldiers, playing from USO centers in Baghdad and Basrah, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, and Fort Drum, NY will compete with professional athletes on an even playing field. Following the matches, the solders, their families, and fellow Arizona National Guard and Luke AFB troops will be able to reconnect via the webcam.

In conjunction with the USO, Pros vs. GI Joes is the only organization to make live gaming available in the Middle East.
